The site delivers a broad mix of habitat types, including Wood-Pasture and Parkland, Other Neutral Grassland, Other Woodland: Broadleaved, Mixed Scrub, Ponds (Non-priority), Rural Trees and Species-rich Native Hedgerow, generating units across medium, high and very high distinctiveness categories. An HMMP is in place and the legal agreement is currently being finalised. Units are available to reserve now ahead of registration on the Biodiversity Gain Site Register.
Spanning two NCAs makes this site relevant to a wider catchment of development projects across Lancashire. For information on site suitability, allocation and next steps, please enquire and the team will confirm the most appropriate route for your project.
