Overview

Masketts Farm is an ILM habitat bank in Wealden, located within the High Weald National Character Area and adjacent to Ashdown Forest. The site has the potential to deliver significant biodiversity value through enhancement and creation across a mix of habitats.

Existing pasture fields will be enhanced to Other Neutral Grassland, alongside creation of Mixed Scrub and the addition of Rural Trees, supporting off-site Biodiversity Net Gain delivery.

The site has an approved Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan (HMMP) and is legally secured via a Conservation Covenant. It is registered on the Biodiversity Gain Site Register and available to support allocation.
